B.J.
Thomas
With over 70 million records
sold, BJ's vocal versatility is as apparent
today as it was when he recorded his first hit
in 1967, “I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry”. Since
the mid-1960s, BJ Thomas has become one of the
most recognized and respected voices of the
American musical landscape. He has impacted many
areas of popular music with 15 Top 40 pop hits,
10 Top 40 country hits, 5 Grammys, 2 Dove awards
and 15 Gold and Platinum Records. He is the only
artist to successfully move to the top of three
music genres not as a crossover and also have
crossover success.
“As a singer,” BJ states, “I have the chance to
lift the spirits of the audience and make them
feel good, at least for the evening.”
It's an attitude people have noticed. Fans
frequently approach BJ to thank him for the
impact of his songs ranging from the mega hit
“Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head” to country
smashes like “New Looks From An Old Lover.” BJ's
music is testimony to the fact he is a survivor.
He has overcome personal adversity and addiction
as well as weathered professional storms to
emerge musically stronger than ever. |

The Guess Who
The popularity of The Guess Who
has increased tremendously due to the strength
and highly regarded reputation of their live
concert performances. Although membership in the
group has changed through the years, they have
remained musically consistent behind the
strengths of original members Jim Kale (bass and
vocals) and Garry Peterson (drums and vocals).
Additionally, current members include Carl Dixon
(vocals and guitars), Leonard Shaw (keyboards,
flute, sax and vocals) and Laurie MacKenzie
(guitars and vocals). As they perform hit after
hit in concert, it's easy to see and hear why
The Guess Who remain one of today's most sought
after touring attractions. |

The Outsiders starring
Sonny Geraci
Sonny Geraci is one of a
select few pop singers to have top 5 songs with
two different bands. It started in the
mid-sixties when a new band emerged from
Cleveland, Ohio. They were the Outsiders, and
would forever be remembered for the monumental
smash hit, "Time Won't Let Me". With Sonny as
the lead singer, the Outsiders went on to record
four albums and three more Top 40 records for
Capital Records, "Respectable", "Help Me Girl",
and "Girl In Love".
Then Sonny created a new group called "Climax"
with the help of Marc Gordon and producer Larry
Cox. The new band recorded the song "Precious
and Few", which immediately went to #1
nationally. Sonny "puts a smile on the
audiences' faces." I love people, meeting them
and signing their autographs. The fans are the
reason I continue to perform.

Gary
Lewis and the Playboys
Gary Lewis was about as close
to being an “overnight success” in the recording
field as anyone can get. And – just because it
happens so seldom – it is always a special
thrill when show business lightning strikes
twice in the same family. The comedy antics of
Jerry Lewis skyrocketed him to fame when he was
just barely out of his teens. No. 1 son Gary had
achieved comparable success in the music field…
also at a young and carefree age.
The son of a famous father – in any field – is
often faced with serious problems in finding and
maintaining his own identity. But Gary Lewis and
The Playboys were enthusiastically accepted by
audiences from the very first night, and as the
word spread it was not long before they were
playing to a packed house every night.

The Cryan' Shames
Chicago’s local heroes, the
Cryan’ Shames topped the Midwest charts on a
regular basis from 1966-1969 with their
harmony-fueled pop confections. From their
straight-outta-the-garage debut, Sugar & Spice
and I Wanna Meet You to the more mature
psychedelic orchestrations and innovations of A
Scratch In The Sky and Synthesis a great time is
guaranteed for all.

The Flamingos
The Flamingos received the
Rhythm and Blues Pioneer Award in 1996, the
United Group Harmony Association Award, were
inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in
2000, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 and the
Doo-Wop Hall of Fame in 2001.
Both prolific and seminal in their influence and
impact, the Flamingos are considered by many as
the greatest harmonizing vocal ensemble ever,
and are certainly among the premier units of the
Doo-Wop/Rhythm & Blues era.
