Tony Harris
Saxophonist Tony Harris was born
in Champaign, Illinois and eventually moved to
Chicago. His love for playing the saxophone
began at age fourteen. After graduating from
high school, Tony went on the road with
traveling bands for five years. While on tour,
he played in the Super Bowl in New Orleans, and
performed with Tyrone Davis and Johnny Taylor at
Madison Square Garden. He later attended Malcolm
X College to study music taught by highly
respected saxophonists Joe Daley and Sonny
Seals.
Tony has experience playing a sideman for over
twenty years. Ready to strike out on his own,
Tony is pleased to announce the impending
release of his first CD project "Equinox".

Tommy McCracken
Tommy McCracken was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The only child of Helen and Tom McCracken, Tommy
enjoyed a religious upbringing. In his early
years, he traveled extensively with his
grandmother and grandfather as a featured Gospel
soloist. Tommy's grandfather was the pastor at a
church and Evangelized in and around Atlanta,
Georgia before moving to Chicago, Illinois.
Tommy now resides in Chicago, Il. He started
singing professionally in 1974 and formed his
own band, "The Force of Habit" in 1975. Tommy
committed himself to the blues in 1982 and since
then, he has become one of Chicago's top blues
vocalist/entertainers.
Accompanying Tommy McCracken is the
multi-talented Force of Habit band; a group of
veteran blues musicians led by Chicago
entertainer and band leader, Bob Johnson. Tommy
McCracken and the Force of Habit band deliver a
high energy brand of blues and gospel. |
